The Industry Advisory Council (IAC) is comprised of high level representatives of the participating Information Technology partner companies, staff of the Tech Collective (grant program manager) and staff of the Workforce Partnership of Greater RI (grantee/fiscal agent).

The responsibilities of the IAC include:

• Providing general oversight, guidance, and support for the grant initiative
• Identifying and prioritizing local industry skill shortages and training needs of the 3 targeted workforce groups (incumbent, transitioning, future)
• Reviewing local industry growth projections and hiring needs
• Providing advice and guidance for training program design/curricula development
• Providing guidance and oversight of the training procurement process
• Be active participants in the other ISDI component
• Recruiting additional industry partner companies to participate in the initiative
